The sizes of skirts
In order to choose a skirt of a right size, it’s very important to take the right measurements:
- waist semi-circumference: the measurements are taken with a metric tape-measure, horizontally and from the thinnest part of the waist;
- hips semi-girth: the measurements are taken from the widest part of the hips, horizontally to the floor level;
- skirt length: for a regular fit skirt the measurement is taken from the waistline until the bottom line of the chosen model. If the chosen model of the skirt is a low or high waist model, the length of that skirt is measured from the upper line of the chosen model until the hemline of the skirt;
- height (H).
