The sizes of shirts

The size of a short, depending on gender, is determined in different ways:

fro women: the size equals the chest girth;

for men: the neck girth.

The sizes of shirts:

Important: for accurate size determining Your chest girth, waist circumference and neck girth parameters should be compared to the size charts.

Allowances for loose fitting:

When taking measurements for determining the size of a shirt, it's very important to add allowances for loose fitting.

For men the allowance to the neck girth is not more than 2 (cm), and to the waist circumference and hip girth = 4 (cm).

For women, according to the chosen style, the allowance to the fitting is divided into: slim fit, medium fit and loose fit:

slim fit for women's shirt of a large size is applied only for an ideal body type;
for medium fit 4 (cm) is added to the waist circumference and hip girth;
for loose fit 6 (cm) to 10 (cm) is added to the waist circumference and hip girth.
