The sizes of t-shirts

The size of a T-shirt is determined by one parameter:

chest girth: the measurement is taken at the fullest part of the chest from the armpits area.

The sizes of t-shirts:

A T-shirt is a type of top that is supposed to be loose on the body, that means there is a space of 2-3 (cm) in-between the body and the garment.

Standard T-shirts initially have this feature.

Important: the accuracy of choosing the right size of a T-shirt is 1 size, that means the garment that is 1 size bigger or smaller from the required size would fit perfectly.

Different size charts labeling:

Main brands, when producing T-shirts, consider the body complexion and the height of a person. When showing the size they use the following labeling of the charts (for men):

n for standard body type, of taller than 162 (cm) height;
b for obese body type, of taller than 162 (cm) height;
s for slim body type, of taller than 179 (cm) height;
u for standard body type, of shorter than 162 (cm) height.
