The sizes of underpants

The size of underpants directly depends on 2 body parameters:

waist circumference (WC);

hip girth (HG).

The sizes of underpants:

There is a difference in determining the sizes of men and women underpants, reason for which is different body structures.

Important: the mentioned above information refers to standard underpants of medium fit, that do not have more 7 % of stretching synthetic fiber. For non-standard underpants, when determining the size it’s better to use only brand size charts.

Differences of size charts in different countries:

Chinese products are most of the time one letter lower in size.

For example, if according to the hip girth the American size is L, the Chinese model most of the time would be M.

The international format uses letter size marking, for example, for men with the waist circumference of around 85 (cm) and hip girth of around 112 (cm), the size, according to the international standards would be XL.

Important: it’s important to remember, that the sizes of trousers and pants do not match the sizes of underpants, as their tightness degree is different.
