Identical vehicles made for different markets (American, European, Asian) can be equipped with batteries with different sizes and terminal locations.

The choice of vehicle battery is determined by the following characteristics and parameters:

• Type of assembly (European, Asian, American): batteries of the same capacity in different regions can be produced with different overall dimensions;
• Sizes of terminals: for the Asian and CIS markets, terminals are most often made of reduced diameter.
• Location of terminals: for the European market, the terminals are located on the top of the cover, for the American - on the side.

Most often, small-capacity vehicle batteries (from 35 Ah to 70 Ah) which are produced by Japanese, Chinese and Korean companies, have a length of 187 (mm) to 261 (mm), a width of 127 (mm) to 175 (mm), and a height of 190 (mm) to 227 (mm).

Important: most high-capacity batteries (from 70 Ah to 225 Ah) for vehicles manufactured by European companies have a length of 278 (mm) to 518 (mm), a width of 175 (mm) to 240 (mm), and a height of 175 (mm) to 242 (mm).
